Huia at Onslow - Anton Forde

Onslow will be exhibiting Anton Forde's sculptures during this inaugural Saturday Arts Series.

HUIA by Anton Forde presents works in kōhatu/stone, Pounamu, andesite and basalt, carved with markings of Māhutonga/the Southern Cross, Raukura/feathers and Roimata/teardrops.  These works are a recognition of and salute to our natural world, and the hope that humanity brings whilst interacting with her. 

Anton's work has featured at Onslow since the very beginning, holding great significance and relevance to Josh, Helen and Onslow. 

Anton Forde says, "These works pay tribute to Huia and the connection to those permanently living with the stars, who allow us to find home today." 

We will exhibit Anton's works in our dining space until October. Works featured in the HUIA exhibition are available to purchase.
