Join us for an unforgettable evening showcasing exceptional wine and cuisine as we host a very special Huntress wine dinner, with the Huntress herself Jannine Rickards.
Janine Rickards discovered her passion for winemaking after a season in a vineyard in Hawkes Bay, which was further fueled by trips to Burgundy, California, South Africa, and Oregon. She honed her craft working alongside Helen Masters as Assistant Winemaker of Ata Rangi.
Jannine crafts wines that are a true expression of the Wairarapa terroir – wild, pure, and honest. Each bottle strives to be a sensory journey, reflecting the deep connection between the land and the palate.

Huntress Wines began as a passion project, developed while she worked as a winemaker. She describes her wines as "wild, pure, and honest," and they are minimally handled to authentically reflect the soils and environment from which they originate.
This wine dinner will feature six of her wines paired with a Onslow game-inspired four-course menu. Hearing Jannine retell stories of her winemaking and her love of hunting, gathering, and cooking will be a special treat.
