A Celebration for Everyone

Building on the spirit of last year's Matariki celebrations, Onslow is once again partnering with Raukura Huata and Ngāti Whātua Ōrākei to bring people together around the table in honour of the Māori New Year.

This year's national theme, Matariki Herenga Waka, For Everyone, recognises Matariki as a time for all people to come together. It is an invitation to pause, reflect, share stories, and look towards the year ahead, regardless of where you come from or what your connection to Matariki may be.

Date: Saturday 18th and Sunday 19th July 

Time: Event commences from 12:00 pm sharp

Price: $95 per person 

Offering: 4 courses and a drink on arrival

Location: Onslow, 9 Princes Street, Auckland CBD

At Onslow, we believe some of the most meaningful conversations happen around the table. This special long lunch creates space to gather, learn, and experience Matariki through kai, kōrero and hospitality.

This year's celebration carries particular significance, with Ngāti Whātua Ōrākei hosting the national Matariki celebrations in Tāmaki Makaurau. 

We are honoured to once again partner with Raukura Huata and Ngāti Whātua Ōrākei to create an experience that reflects the spirit of this year's theme, Matariki Herenga Waka, For Everyone.
